The song "Bawat Daan" holds a powerful meaning for many people—it speaks to the hope of finding someone who feels like home, someone who stays even when everything else is uncertain. But for me, it’s a song I dedicate to myself.

After all the battles, the sleepless nights, and the questions I carried, I realize now that I’ve been searching not for someone else but for my own peace and strength.

"Nag-iisang tiyak sa isang libong duda"

This line has taken on a new meaning for me. It reminds me that while I was surrounded by so many doubts and insecurities, I still had one constant—myself. I was the one thing I could rely on, the one source of strength that stayed with me through every heartbreak and every lonely night. This journey wasn’t easy, but I’ve learned to trust myself in ways I never thought possible.

"Kung puso ko ay imamapa, ikaw ang dulo, gitna’t simula."

These words feel like a promise I made to myself. Every struggle, every detour, brought me closer to who I am. I no longer feel lost because I realize that every step, no matter how painful, was leading me back to my own heart. I am both the start and the end, the center of my own journey. I have become my own home, my own beginning and destination.

And finally,

"Nahanap din kita."

I used to believe these words were meant for someone else, but now, they resonate deeply as I say them to myself. After everything, I found myself—stronger, braver, and more at peace than I ever imagined. The sadness is still there, like a gentle reminder of the journey, but it doesn’t weigh me down anymore. It has taught me resilience, and I’m learning that every path, even the hardest ones, brings me back to who I am.

So now, "Bawat Daan" is a dedication to the journey I took alone, a reminder that I’ve become my own answer, my own guide, and my own strength. Each stride ahead brings me closer to a place of self-acceptance, where I no longer feel like I’m lost but instead know that I’m finally home—within myself.
